The service is open to people of all ages and includes people who may be housebound, living in long term care, are carers, or people who are vulnerable due to long term conditions or disabilities.
The service is run in conjunction with the Royal Voluntary Service who deliver library material every four weeks directly to the reader's door.
A full range of library matertial is available including ordinary print, large print books, audio books, dementia friendly books and puzzles. There is also full access to the children's library and teen section.
The scheme is run by dedicated volunteers who offer a regular friendly face, chat and wellbeing check for anyone who may need it.
