Stocksmoor Village Hall are hosting a Macmiillan Coffee Morning and would love to see you and your friends there.
Enjoy lots of lovely homemade cakes and treats, savoury and gluten free options, plenty of hot and cold drinks and a raffle.

The Pennine Folk Club (formerly Shepley Folk Club) are proud to announce they are now at their new home in Stocksmoor Village Hall.
Please come and join them for their first meeting on Sunday 21st September from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Three hours of folk music and fun (play, sing or listen)
Unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits
A 45 minute guest slot by the wonderfully talented 'Pen & Stu'

St Lucius Church, Farnley Tyas - 26th September 2025
The Farnley Tyas Cinema Club is back!
Based at St Lucius Church in Farnley Tyas the 1st screening of the season will be 'Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy' on Friday 26th September at 7,30pm. Doors open at 7.00pm with tickets priced at £6 on the door. Refreshments will be on sale.

Penistone Showground, Penistone - 13th September 2025
The annual Penistone Agriculatural Show offers enterntainment, competitions and activites for all the family - including a huge array of livestock competitions, food demonstations, handicraft, homecraft and horticulture competitions, craft stalls, music, bars, vintage vehicles, rural crafts, dog show, food stalls and trade stands.

A community cafe is held in the church of St Lucius at Farnley Tyas.
Every Tuesday morning from 9am to 11.30am.
Serving coffee, tea, and a variety of homemade cakes and biscuits.
There's no charge but donations are welcome.
Stocksmoor Village Hall - 16th July 2025
Multi-award winning virtuoso jazz violinist, Ralph, Allin, performed with his band.
"Ralph has toured with the legendary Van Morrisonand has performed with the likes of Joolz Holland and Andre Previn. He won the regional accolade of 'Jazz Musician of the Year', has entertained King Charles at his home and has performed at Ronnie Scotts. His award winning debut album (Folk Album of the Year) led the way for several other CDs, and among his many radio appearances, he has been featured on 'Friday Night is Music Night', as well as being BBC radio artist of the week". Thurstonland & Stocksmoor Annual Summer Gala
The villages of Stocksmoor and Thurstonland come together every year for their summer gala held at the Thurstonland Cricket Club.
There's always fun for all the family with lots of stalls selling local produce, a BBQ, and games and activities for everyone.
