How long can I hire the Hall for?

Our Village Hall is available to hire for a one-off event or on a regular basis. Its available to hire on an hourly basis as well as half daily, daily or an evening basis. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements - we will always do our best to accommodate you.

How much does it cost to hire?

For regular users of the Village Hall for each session we charge £20 for the 1st hour + 30 mins and then just £13 thereafter. For a one-off event please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements (Email: stocksmoorvillagehall@gmail.com).

How big is the Hall? How many people can it accommodate?

The main space of the Village Hall measures 123 sq m (or 8.8m x 14m) (see below). It can hold up to 100 people dependent on the layout used. For a sit down meal up to 75 people or for a buffet type meal 80 to 90 people.

What facilities does it have?

• On-site level car park with disabled parking provision

• Plenty of additional unrestricted parking along Station Road

• Easy access into the Hall with a ramp for disabled users and pushchairs and large entrance / double doors

• Main area of Hall has large central dance floor with use of staging if required

• Fully equipped modern kitchen (more below)

• Modern toilet facilities including disabled toilet

• Baby changing facility

• Use of all tables + chairs

What facilities are included in the kitchen?

Our fully equipped modern kitchen is a large space with lots of worktop area and includes the following :

• 2 electric ovens

• electric hob 

• microwave

• dishwasher

• fridge

• hot water heater

• kettles

• double bowl sink

• use of all crockery, cutlery, utensils, wine glasses, water tumblers,etc.

• large serving hatch with roller shutter door which opens directly onto the main area of the Hall
