Stocksmoor is a small village located around 6 miles to the south east of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. It includes the areas of Sunside, Stocks Lane and Whitestones.
Stocksmoor is well served by public transport links with its own train station and local bus service.

Stocksmoor also has its own village pub The Clothiers located on Station Road.
We have a number of volunteers who regularly help out with small tidying up projects to keep our Village looking its very best. They're a friendly bunch who take great pride in their Village.

Our Neighbouring Villages
Stocksmoor has close ties with its neighbouring villages including Farnley Tyas and Thurstonland.
St Thomas Parish Church serves the villages of Thrustonland and Stocksmoor. It holds regular services throughout the year with something for everyone. There is a regular Parish Magazine providing news about the villages and events and activities taking place.

St Lucius Parish Church has been serving the farming community of Farnley Tyas since 1840. It has regular services and also events including a community cafe, concerts, bridge lunches,film shows and craft fair.
